Bogus Creek Cafe & Bakery

Highway 35, Stockholm, WI - (715) 442-5017
Breakfast is served all day at the Bogus Creek Café, and it tastes especially good if you arrive bright and early and can enjoy it on the café’s sunny garden deck. Check out the Bogus hash, which is eggs scrambled with ham, onion, and pepper, and topped with cheese; and pay particular attention to anything baked: sticky buns and sweet rolls, muffins and scones, and a unique item known as a bassant, which is a cross between a bagel and a croissant – a little chewy, a little flaky – served with walnut and raisin cream cheese.

Never in my life have I had French toast like this. Very tasty and could easily be served as a dessert. Browned and chewy on the outside and gooey in the middle.
