Housed in a turn-of-the-century water mill, Bidwell Tavern is the place for eastern Connecticut’s most unique and delicious Buffalo wings. Some like them hot, and Bidwell offers three levels of Buffalo spice, but for those who crave something different, try Green Mountain (with cayenne pepper and maple syrup) or the fabulous Mustard Horseradish wings. Plump, crispy, and virtually greaseless, Bidwell’s wings are utterly addictive. Locally bottled Hosmer Mountain sodas are available as well as a slew of microbrews.
