Just south of Augusta, this former drive-in (with curb service stalls out front) enchants with delicious pancakes in a myriad of varieties. The one that piqued our interest was bacon pancakes; sure enough, crumbled bacon was sprinkled on top while cooking, imparting its piggy crunch to every bite. The egg plates are excellent, with juicy link sausage and homemade bread for toast, and the ambience speaks to a bygone era of efficiency, flavor, and service with a smile.

"Here's one flapjack variety you won't find at IHOP: pieces of bacon are sprinkled on and cooked into the top!"

"Nothing out of the ordinary here, but the sausage is juicy and the homemade bread is perfect for sopping up egg yolks."
