The Little Polish Diner is really little and really Polish, its chef, Sophie Hart, having learned to cook in her home in Poland. Daily specials include bigos (hunter's stew), chicken paprikash, and Friday lake perch. Pierogi and kielbasi always are available.

The chicken paprikash is a Saturday special.  This dish features incredibly tender meat, a sauce that isn't overpowering with paprika, over top of spaetzles.  An excellent cucumber salad comes on the side.
