When traveling through the Lakes Region of NH, look no further than Hart’s Turkey Farm for a meal that will rival the best of home cooked Thanksgiving dinners.
You can order turkey in all different shapes and sizes including (tempura, Parmesan, nuggets, livers, croquettes, pie, Marsala, and Divan), but the one I have been ordering for almost two decades is the “Turkey Dinner”. The entrée for this meal consists of thinly sliced layers of moist turkey piled generously on top of homemade stuffing.
No knife is required in this meal. I prefer to cut the meat and stuffing with a fork and then scoop it into a side of homemade mashed potatoes and gravy.
For dessert (if you still have room) the apple pie and seasonable blueberry pie is the way to go. Top it off with a scoop of their homemade ice cream.
