Parkside Candy

3208 Main Street, Buffalo, NY - (716) 833-7540

Also an alumni of UB and a big fan of Parkside Candy. Never ordered food there but enjoyed the candy and especially the milk-shakes. Delicious and served with a full glass and enough remaining in the metal mixing-cup to re-fill the glass at least one more time. Terrific ambiance that is original and authentic, a real survivor. Put this place together with Duff's for wing's as my two most memorable college food spots.

Known elsewhere as 'fairy food,' sponge candy is a specialty of Buffalo confectionaries. It is chocolate surronding spun sugar that quite literally melts on the tongue. (buffetbuster photo)

Even if the place looks a little ragged around the edges, the place is still a treasure.

We are forever amazed that Parkside Candy still exists. It is such an old-fashioned place in so many (very good) ways. (buffetbuster photo)

Buffetbuster took this detailed photo of the soft lighting that haloes the inside of the store.
