This is the best burger in Marin, simple as that. Good meat, cooked the way you ordered it, excellent condiments and buns, great onion rings. They prepare the burgers to order: rare, medium-rare, medium-well and well. Three types of cheese: American, Cheddar and Swiss. Only the center cuts of iceberg lettuce are used, as well as huge beefsteak tomatoes and fresh locally-baked buns (NOT fancy 18-grain wheat-free spelt taste-like-nothing buns served in the crystal gazing vegan joints out in Fairfax).

You can order the regular burger, or a Junior burger that is sufficient for smaller appetites (including mine). They have also introduced a Philly cheesesteak but I have always gone for the burgers. The onion rings are large and dipped in a delicious batter, served in large portions.

You can call ahead and your order will be ready for pick-up. No credit cards accepted. There are now three locations in Marin county.
