66 Diner

The 66 Diner has good food and a great nostalgic family atmosphere. It is also very busy. Avoid going there during prime time at all costs! We waited for over forty minutes for our food and had to finally leave to catch a show. We were continually told it would be out in "two minutes," which quickly turned into forty.

The Teeny Weeny Sundae is the perfect $.99 dessert when you've already indulged in some of the famous 66 Diner meals.

One little condiment cup holds a pool of thick fudge sauce, topped with a small (1/4 cup?) scoop of ice cream, then finished with whipped cream, peanuts, a drizzle of fudge, and a cherry.

Open-face Southwestern burger. Didn't realize it was an open-face sandwich when I ordered it, but I still enjoyed it.

It's a handsome place by day; at night, the 66 Diner glows.
