Sunrise Inn

510 East Market Street, Warren, OH - (330) 392-5176

On one of my first trips to my boyfriend's house here in Warren, OH we had dinner at the Sunrise Inn. This long-standing restaurant has seen multiple expansions and was the first bar in town to have a television set in 1947.

At the Sunrise, the menu is mostly Italian fare. Their pizza is unique; it has a hearty red sauce, thickly-sliced pepperoni, and just a mere sprinkling of Parmesan and Romano cheeses. This is my lactose-intolerant boyfriend's favorite. Personally, I cannot get past the breaded ravioli Parmesan. It's a treat of deep fried, breaded cheese ravioli served with a side of spaghetti and a delicious red sauce. Just sitting here writing this is making me hungry. I hope we can go there for dinner tonight!
