Robert Rothschild Market Café - Urbana, OH

For hungry passers-by, the Market Café on premises offers a small menu of bistro sandwiches and salads, each of which is given a gourmet twist. The grilled chicken salad, for example, is dressed with peanut ginger sauce. A pannini combo sandwich of smoked turkey, ham, and Provolone is accented by Rothschild’s Onion Blossom Dip. Desserts are also outstanding.

The Rothschild Market Cafe began as a berry farm; its best groceries are still raspberry preserves, but the shelves are crowded with all kinds of superfine groceries.
