After reading about their Minorcan clam chowder, I tried it and I wasn't impressed. It was good, a little spicy, but nothing to write home about. We tried to cover the menu pretty well to give it a fair chance, so we ordered: two bowls of Minorcan clam chowder (average); fish of the day, which was flounder, blackened (excellent!); and crab-stuffed shrimp (meh).

The sides were solid. The hush puppies, especially, were good but we're just getting to hush puppy country so it may be that they just tasted like my youth and that's why I liked them.

Overall it was a fine meal but uninspiring. I'm hoping the next Roadfood recommendations up the coast get more exciting as we make our way north.
