Blanche's Roadside Grill is just a truck, parked on the side of the road. It's located in an industrial area, just off the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. They have only been open for a week and a half, but already have a loyal following. And after today, they can add me to that list.

They are very proud of their grandmother's 100-year-old recipe for baked beans. I would have ordered some today, but they were already sold out. They told me that they are "loaded with meat." Today they sold out of them before the big lunch rush. I ordered a meatball grinder. The meatballs are homemade and hand-packed. I asked for peppers and onions, which tasted like they had been marinated. The roll was very fresh, and sopped up the flavor of the sauce perfectly.

I will be going back for lunch very soon!
