Sundance Cafe & Lodge

23942 Hwy 119, Nederland, CO - (303) 258-0804

I have been going to the Sundance Cafe for over 30 years and have never been disappointed with a meal. Most of my meals have been breakfast, but I have also experienced very good lunches and dinners. For a small cafe, it has an excellent selection of menu items to satisfy any taste, from meat and potatoes to eclectic and vegetarian. It has a full bar, kids menus, and serves breakfast, lunch, dinners, appetizers, and salads.

My last breakfast was steak and eggs with a side of green chili. The steak was perfectly grilled (medium well). Soups are homemade. One day the soup special was chicken tortilla; dessert was a generous serving of Key lime pie.

The Sundance is located just south of Nederland, Colorado, just up Boulder Canyon from, where else, Boulder, Colorado. The views of the mountains are great from the restaurant and outdoor seating is the place to be during the summertime. It is located on the Peak-to-Peak highway going up north to Estes Park, which is adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's worth the trip!
