Planet Coffee Roasters - Calgary, AB, XX

Calgary is blessed with many places to get good coffee, but we believe The Planet is the stand-out. Mainly, we like its espresso. There is something about this dark brew that has a fuller range of taste than any other we can remember. The eats menu includes grilled breakfast panini, baguette sandwiches, wraps, sausage rolls made from Spolumbo’s sausages and salads, as well as flaky, butter-frosted cinnamon buns hot from the oven every morning.

As in much of the western U.S., cinnamon buns are big in Calgary. Planet Coffee Roasters' version is glazed with sweet frosting and makes an ideal morning coffee companion.
