This tender pulled pork was bursting with flavor.  The hand cut french fries had a clean finish to them and the cole slaw was filling.

A delicious mix of spicy shrimp boil, Wango Tango wings, fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs.  It comes with blue cheese sauce, BBQ-based cocktail sauce, and a cayenne-buttermilk ranch sauce for the tomatoes.

An inspired combination of smoked brisket, house-smoked bacon, and Swiss cheese, with a judicious amount of sauce on top.  This is a winner in my book.

Not offered on the Syracuse menu, I'm glad to see salt potatoes served in NYC and I love explaining the origin of them to folks who have never experienced them before.  Salty, buttery, and decadent, they are not for the calorie conscious.

This occasionally recurring side dish, Cajun corn, is buttery, with a nice smoky hint from the peppers.  It possesses a slight bite.

Dinosaur's version of mac and cheese is always creamy, cheesy, and flecked with just a bit of spice.

My favorite side at the Dinosaur, the baked beans are thick, rich, and laced with shreds of pulled pork (and sometimes chunks of sausage).  These are eternally comforting.

A 1/4-rack of pork ribs, brisket and a hot link (from Elgin, TX).  The two sides are Syracuse-style salt potatoes and a mini iceberg wedge with Bar-B-Blues dressing.  There's also a square of Honey Hush cornbread.

One of my go-to sides, this mixture of shredded carrots, golden and dark raisins, and mayo is a bright, crunchy counterpoint to the rich meats.
