Bendtsen's Bakery - Racine, WI

Racine, Wisconsin's kringle has as buttery crust and is as light as a croissant. It is as big as a Christmas wreath and it comes filled with a ribbon of pecan paste and chopped nuts, or a layer of almond macaroon paste, or a low tunnel of cherry and cheese. It is great straight from the bakery shelf, but even better served warm with butter melting on top, accompanied by a cup of coffee. Bendtsen's has a few seats where you can sit and enjoy.
