Jerseydog...tsk tsk, shame on you !!

The annual Blues and BBQ Festival runs in early June each year. I urge anyone who enjoys 'Music in the Park" (free) and lots of great BBQ from vendors surrounding the concert area, to make the trip to Henderson...Just across the Ohio River from Evansville, IN.

I've been to the Moonlite one time and loved it. I'll go again this year. i visited the country music hall of fame but did not know they had a 10 day music fest. Hope it was great!

Love the Moonlite BBQ. I'm generally not a buffet fan, but this place is an exception and the real deal. Have a great time Al and enjoy the food and music. And I would be happy to eat your burgoo for you.

Today we are headed for our annual concert-visit to the Henderson, KY Blues and BBQ Festival. We go for one day or evening each year. The festival spreads over 10 days and has a different venue each night or day on the weekends. Thursday nite is Zydeco Night with cajun food and music in the evening. Friday night and Saturday the Blues groups take the stage in Riverside Park for 2 hour sets that run til midnite Friday and noon to Midnite Saturday. We have enjoyed some fine music under the trees in that Park over the years.
This year will be even better, as we have the time to stop this afternoon for the Moonlite BBQ's Friday Buffet. Friday's the Bosley's add Catfish, Shrimp, and Oysters to the Beef, Pork, Chicken, Ham, and MUTTON already crowding the buffet area. Add the salads, (I am not a Burgoo fan, so I skip that) and the great Pies and Cobblers for dessert and I can plan to snooze a bit at the concert after enjoying way too much seafood.
We are looking forward to this evening "out".
