I ate at 82 Queen, which I do not regret. It was wonderful.

I am sorry I missed some of the more "road foody" places. Hominy Grill is the place I am sorry I missed.
Re:Going to Charleson, SC in 3 weeks (Sue in MtP)

I too love the Wreck. If you just turn in the driveway after Magwood Shrimp the building right in front of you is the Wreck.

I also recommend Seewee up Highway 17 in Mt Pleasant. There's still lots of construction between Charleston and it, but it's worth it. I also like Page's Okra Grill (mostly locals, prepare to wait on weekends). If you are on Isle of Palms try the Sea Biscuit for breakfast or lunch.

The Grocery is a new place on Upper King I like a lot.

If you want more upscale recs I can give you those too.
Re:Going to Charleson, SC in 3 weeks (kevincad)

ann peeples

The menu looks great, Kevin!

The food there is nothing short of fantastic!
Re:Going to Charleson, SC in 3 weeks (ann peeples)

 The menu looks great, Kevin!
Re:Going to Charleson, SC in 3 weeks (kevincad)

Oh, and when you go to the Wreck, do yourself a favor and get the she crab soup.
Re:Going to Charleson, SC in 3 weeks (kevincad)

jenper1

So, where should we eat? It's hard to find, no sign.

http://www.wreckrc.com/home.html
Going to Charleson, SC in 3 weeks (jenper1)

 So, where should we eat?
