    I am intrigued by the cookies. Can you share a recipe, or do you just use the cereal to replace something like a chocolate chip?

      Here's the recipe...

      1/2 cup butter, softened
      3/4 cup brown sugar
      1 egg
      1 teaspoon vanilla extract
      1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
      1/2 teaspoon baking soda
      2 cups Cap’n Crunch cereal


      Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

      In a mixing bowl combine butter and brown sugar, beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour and baking soda, beat until well combined. Fold in Cap’n crunch.

      Scoop onto a lined or greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

      Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges start to brown.

      Remove to a wire rack to cool.

      I don't eat raw cookie dough because eggs make me sneeze for like an hour...and that's beggin' for a terrible headache.

                        If it's any consolation...you're the nicest heathen I know....and heathens have more fun!

                        You could eat the tops of the pretzel loops and have a delicious pretzel pitchfork. Careful with the butter...

                        The mushrooms...

                        I used onions & celery for the stuffing.

                        Onions celery a little butter & oil (I use grapeseed oil) salt. Let them go low & slow for a bit. Instead of sugar I added some Mexican Coke. It gives it a nice hint of sweetness (not too much) and helps develop a very nice deep rich color....without bitter bits that can happen when onions caramelize in sugar for an extended period of time. Nice caramelized oniony bits with Mexican Coke.

                        I also added beef stock (borrowed from a good Steakhouse) Worchestershire sauce...dry vermouth ...a little dry mustard..black pepper...thyme & sage.

                        Very low & slow...adding more stock as the vegetables softened (without being mushy). Towards the end...I added the diced mushroom stems and...



                        some nice croutons that got a beatin'...to stuffin' it up.

                        I tossed the mushrooms in butter for a few minutes.... & lined the bottom of each mushroom with some of the croutons. Stuffing...topped with a little Romano cheese & 2 little slices of Swiss cheese (from a block) on an angle like a roof of a house (for a nice little cheese skirt).

                        Sprinkled with a little paprika...in the oven @ 325 degrees for 10 minutes....then the broiler for about 3 minutes.

                              That tequila cocktail reminds me of this tequila cocktail in Las Vegas...



                              The cocktail before the cocktails...that gave me the Chilaquiles.

                              I found key limes so I have to make key lime something-or-other tomorrow...

                                Ha!  I tried fooling with key limes once--I will always buy the bottled juice now.
                                 
                                My cocktail had coconut water, lime, agave nectar and pineapple tequila.  Very refreshing.  What was in yours, CC?

                                  I remember a few ice cubes...and there was a straw. After that...it was a blur.

                                  The little limes will yield or else...

                                  I think I'll make some key lime baby pies with pretzel crusts. Pretzels know the drill.

                                  I'm making the sweetened condensed milk from scratch...as well.

                                    Pizza project (and pizza) for lunch today.

                                    Transformed a puffy (with excellent flavor) pizza in the high desert...



                                    To an authentic textbook NYC pizza by-the-slice type of pizza (with too much pepperoni)....



                                    Mission accomplished! <<<Hoboken>>> handshake...

                                        Because I love to be fresh...and this ain't home. I gotta do something to keep me busy.

                                        This house is so immaculate I figure the cleaning lady will be happy to juice limes...tomorrow.

                                        If the pies can't be crazy green (Shamrock Shake!)...they're gonna be crisp white with authentic green specks! I might make Mexican crema instead of sweetened condensed milk.

                                        The pizza...

                                        New flour...different formula...tossing & spinning class. It's not just for show (not that there's anything wrong with some show...as well) . It makes a difference vs. rolling pizza dough.

                                                            Fried in bacon grease and seasoned with Cajun and garlic salt with parsley. I also shook on quite a bit of Cajun Power spicy garlic pepper sauce.
