Delaware- the Bobbie, a sub with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce, sometimes called Thanksgiving on a roll

Can the other states join? I've seen this sandwich on menus in just about every state I visited and/or lived in .
It's not unique to Delaware and I doubt it was invented there.

I searched for the bobbie and it does seem that DE is recognized as the originator.

so....

You are probably right- calling it "The Bobbie" probably originated in Delaware, I'm willing to bet the sandwich and its comprised ingredients did not originate in Delaware...

Just like the "juicy lucy" the name originated  in Minnesota however "the stuffed cheeseburger" was being served elsewhere long before it was a gleam in the Twin Cities eyes.

Yeah, I have eaten them all over the place around the holidays.  All under different names.

Spam is a Hormel product from Austin, MN. The Spam museum is located there as well.

ND is definately the Indian fry bread taco.  It's on the rotating school menu, church pot lucks, street fairs.

Utah and Arizona might get upset with ND for claiming  that as their own.

Well, just saying it's the only real unusual sandwich herebouts that I'd never personally heard of or seen until I moved here.  And it's everywhere. (ND has a strong Native Indian population.)  As a born and raised Iowa Boy, the breaded pork tenderloin is hands down my native states sandwich.  The fry bread taco is just like that here.

          ND - Summer Sausage Sandwich???

Having eaten at quite a few small town diners and street fairs, I've never heard or seen such a sandwich.  You can get sliced summer sausage on your deli sandwich, but we're just talking Subway's, Quizno's, places like that.

I might throw out a Bison Burger, you can get a decent one of those in a few places in Minot, but it's no where as common and frequently seen as the fry bread taco.

I have seen summer sausage and even braunshweiger) -but I think it applies more to Eastern ND. Does Quizno's and Subway have Summer Sausage on their menu? That's news to me.

I still think a beirock could be a Kansas state sandwich.

I only suggested SD as Spam because the factory that produces it is actually there in SD, but I am open to any and all suggestions.
