It's Southern Food Heritage Day Y'all Fri, 10/11/13 3:23 PM (permalink)
The Southern Food and Beverage Museum has declared Oct 11th as Southern Food Heritage Day. I posted about this glorious day last year http://www.scrumptiousche...n-Texas?adminview=true and arose early this morning to celebrate via a grits, eggs and sausage breakfast.

What are y'all going to do to commemorate Southern Food Heritage Day?

Dang--I missed this completely!  Bummer because half of my heritage is southern, and the other half NYC, and grew up with eating lots of both.  I'll make a note to celebrate it next year, though.  Nice post from last year, btw.
