Ham & Pickle Sandwiches

Last week we processed 2 pigs, one being about 400lbs and one 300lbs. I am always looking for different things to do with Ham. We cryovac it into Ham roasts, shanks for soup and beans, portions for ham sands. Back when was I was younger, my Mom would take the leftover Easter ham, take the meat off the bone, send it through the crank meat grinder. She would then grind pickles and mix the ham and pickle with mayo for, Ham and Pickle sandwiches. Does anyone else remember doing this ?????????? this is the ham we had smoked with cherry wood........
